the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.

Habakkuk 2:3 (ESV)

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.

Joel 2:28 (ESV)

By the Lord’s Spirit, we’re visionaries!

  • What an incredible gift of insight: to get instructions and revelations from the Creator of the universe!

  • What a crucial responsibility: to disclose and/or perform His visions among people who may not believe us...

Which brings us to an important question:

Should we trust every Christian’s predictions (whether they involve us personally… or resonate with global importance)?

God instructs through John:

'Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world' (1 John 4:1).

Nevertheless, don't become a skeptic!

'Do not scoff at prophecies, but test everything that is said. Hold on to what is good' (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21).

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

Your assignment as God’s visionaries works in this era of entertainment. BECAUSE FILMMAKERS LOVE TO TELL STORIES!

As you move forward, consider 2 points:

  1. Regarding Christians claiming a vision: Compare their insights to the Word of God. If they vary from His Word, discard them– which means, YOU MUST KNOW THE WORD FOR YOURSELF (and be sure to study it in context).

  2. Regarding your own God-given visions: Cherish them! Then ask Him to confirm them. When you've researched and prayed sufficiently, when they fit in the path your Savior cleared, embrace them and do what God says to do!

‘Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city”’ (Acts 18:9-10).

Actors, models, and talent for Christ:

God has many Christians in media. You’re an unstoppable minority! The path may have bumps, but He will guide you. Follow your vision. Keep moving forward!

* Why is it important to study the Bible in context?

NOTE: God is my Ghostwriter. If what I write is good, it’s from God. You may see notes to 'Actors, Models & Talent for Christ.' If you think you're not in show business, think again. Shakespeare said, 'All the world's a stage and all its men and women merely players.’ Mostly true. But you're not merely players. You are messengers and ambassadors for the King of kings.
